A bit of History about Dolly Lee? She was the first headteacher of Lovelace Primary School in 1954 - a very forward-thinking educationalist, very dapper (she drove a red MG, she was a snappy dresser etc - we have seen some photos). Lovelace was her first headship (no small feat, we are a big school). She was well respected and liked. We saw lots of photos when we celebrated our Golden Jubilee in 2004. Time went by, sadly she passed away about 3 years ago and she had remembered her first Headship school in her will. She didn't marry, but remember the school in the Will, hence, after much consultation, our eco cabin was born. And it is only right, don't you think, that it should be called "DOLLY LEE LODGE"?
