New Forest Log Cabins manufactured a new classroom for the Burton Hathow School near Lincoln in just 4 weeks using our laminated log building system which is not only extremely energy efficient but also meets both Ofsted and UK Building Regulations.

Burton Hathow School needed to increase the capacity of its classrooms to meet  the demand for places created by the credit crunch baby-boom and expansion of there existing classroom facilities and needed a system that could be erected in the shortest time possible to meet the New Year deadline for opening the new facility.

New Forest Log Cabins UK Sales Director John Rudd said: “This was an ideal project for New Forest Log and the results have been amazing. We were on site within 8 weeks with all the components pre made at our manufacturing facility in Europe and delivered ready for the Schools Principle Contractors to assemble the classroom facilities and build an entirely new classroom within 5 weeks. During the assembly period other contractors were on site and completing the landscaping, wiring and plumbing without disrupting the school calendar".
